Liverpool Hope Jewish Studies course open to community

Liverpool Hope have started an MA in Jewish Studies.

Most of the sessions are also open to the community (£50 for a five week module, most sessions 7.00-9.00 p.m., some starting at 6.00 p.m.).  

It has been running now for two years, and is supported by the local CCJ.

The programme for next year currently reads:

1. Oct 7th-Nov 4th, Tuesdays, Aspects of Jewish Theology (Bernard Jackson)

2. Nov 17th-Dec 15th, Mondays, Jewish Messianism (Philip Alexander)

3. Jan 20th-Feb 17th, Tuesdays, Modern Jewish Philosophy (Alex Guilherme)

4. March 2nd-30th, Mondays, Law and Narrative in the Hebrew Bible (Bernard Jackson)
